Cornex Gel allows the salicylic acid to act longer, penetrate deeper as a sustained release vehicle, and prevent the active ingredients from spilling to the surrounding health skin.
Cornex gel has the maximum effective concentrations of both salicylic acid (16.7%) and lactic acid (16.7%) to give the fastest results. When applied onto the skin the salicylic acid acts by achieving a slow, painless destruction of the thickened upper layer of skin.
The other active ingredient, lactic acid enhances the activity of salicylic acid as well as having antiseptic properties.
