Lucy is a young girl who has escaped “the troubles” in Ireland and comes to terms with her personal tragedies while growing up in Sydney in the late 1920s. Music and surprisingly Mathematics are the passions that save her, restoring her belief in herself, her family and her Faith. A multi-faceted story that is not afraid to tackle the great mysteries and questions of life including “why do we suffer?” and “where is God in those times of our life?”. A very satisfying outcome overall.
